The Harvard and MIT Baha'i Associations are student organizations whose memberships are open to all students and faculty of their respective institutions. Their main activities revolve around fellowship and the organization of events that are in line with Baha'i ideals such as the independent investigation of truth, the harmony of religion and science, the equality of men and women, the elimination of all forms of prejudice, the oneness of humanity, and the promotion of world peace and governance. They regularly collaborate with other organizations having similar aims.
